Rosa  (Miniature Rose or China rose)

Our Rosa (also called Miniature Rose or China rose) will arrive in bud or bloom and should continue to flower for several weeks. Rosa required at least 6 hours of light every day.

  1. Remove lower leaves that have yellowed due to a lack of light during transit and pinch off expired blooms to increase plant vitality.
  2. Immediately submerge (plant pot only) into water until no more air bubbles appear. After that, water weekly to keep soil moist.
  3. Miniature Roses likes a bright sunny position and can be put outside during summer.
  4. Rosa need constant moisture, but they do not like to be soggy. Do not allow them to sit in water constantly.
  5. Feed once a week during summer with common plant food.
  6. During winter less water is required.
  7. Cutting the plant back to 5cm (2 inches) above the soil when it has finished flowering to encourage re-growth.
  8. Enjoys warm temperature then rest for two months in colder area.
  9. The ideal temperature for miniature roses is between 65°F-75°F.
